Mac Brunson is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He holds degrees from Furman University and Southwestern Seminary. Dr. Brunson pastored in South Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina and Texas before going to Jacksonville, in 2006.

A well-known speaker and experienced minister, Mac was appointed president of the Southern Baptist Convention Pastor's Conference in 2003. He is heard on numerous radio and television stations around the world weekly.

Mac and his wife, Debbie, are the parents of three children – Courtney, is at Southern Seminary with her husband Barry (finishing PhD) with their new grandson, Broc; Trey, is the Director of Special Projects for FBC Jacksonville and Wills is a student at Liberty University.

A family committed to missions, the Brunsons have taken trips together to Argentina, England, Lebanon, Russia and to Ukraine.
